Quality link building
Written by admin on May 5, 2008 – 8:22 pm -While it is quite important for you to build quality links to your web site, it is just as equally important to consider what the quality of these links are as you build them. Here are some of the parameters that you should be using to decide whether the links you are trading really are of the quality that your web site requires in order to position your web site properly in the Search Engines:
1. Search Engines will give your links more weight when they come from other web sites that are related to your business or niche, as represented on your web site. As such, these links will benefit your site a lot more than links from nonrelated web sites would.
2. You should do your best to get links from web sites that have a high Google page rank. These web sites really should have at least a PR3, if not higher.
3. Whatever you do, make sure that your web site does NOT get listed on a FFA (Free For All) links page. While these directories will allow you to instantly add a back link to your web site, they also do not have a specific theme and thus they are willing to give out links to any web sites that request to have a link there. However, if you get a FFA back link they will negatively impact your Search Engine positioning. Therefore, they should be avoided at all cost.
4. In the same way as you need to avoid FFA link pages, you also need to avoid getting links from web sites that have porn or gambling material on them. This is because your site will no longer be friendly for families and thus many web sites will not want to link to your web site, thus you will be harming your web site’s standing in the Search Engines. However, if you have a pornographic or gambling web site, you can ignore this “rule.”
Of course, these are only a few of the really important factors that you have to take into consideration whenever you are trying to implement a successful link building campaign for your web site. Remember, this is a very important part of any good Search Engine optimization campaign. Therefore, you should really take the time and effort to do it properly. I Like To Call It An Art
Written by admin on May 2, 2008 – 12:16 am -
Search engine optimization, (also known in the industry as SEO) is the art of using search engines to bring or draw traffic to your or somebody else’s web site. Here’s the dictionary definition of SEO: “The term used to describe the marketing technique of preparing a website to enhance its chances of being ranked in the top results of a search engine once a relevant search is undertaken. A number of factors are important when optimising a website, including the content and structure of the website’s copy and page layout, the HTML meta-tags and the submission process.”
Many professionals, who like to use fancy words, refer to SEO as search engine marketing. The goal of SEO is to attain a higher ranking in search engines and directories then your competition. One does this via changes to site coding to make it more relevant and therefore more search engine compatible.
Here’s an amazing statistic. Did you know that 81% of Internet users rely on search engines and directories to find the information they need? Wow! Do you think that ranking highly in search engines and directories should be critical to your Internet marketing strategy…I do
This great study shows how Internet Consumers Find Web Sites*:
————————————————
Search engines: 81%
Link from another site: 59%
Viral marketing (word of mouth): 56%
TV: 48%
Guessed URL: 41%
Online advertising: 20%
Radio: 19%
Direct mail: 10%
——————————————-
* Source: Forrester Research Inc.
Unfortunately or fortunately (if it’s your competition not doing this) many online businesses fail to address the importance of search engines, building their site without any regard to search engine compatibility at all. That’s quite unbelievable actually given all the great SEO programs out there today.

Advertising… The Best Marketing Tip

The best marketing tip you will ever hear is to advertise your product or business. In fact, any marketing tip you hear or see will be related to some form of advertising. In this article, we will go over several marketing tips and the reason you should use them.
One great marketing tip is to use an auto responder. Autoresponders automatically send out emails to people on your mailing lists or to people who have been to your website. You can then send out advertisements of your business or service. This is a great marketing tip because it is often inexpensive and sometimes free to use an autoresponder.
A second marketing tip you may enjoy is the use of slogans or logos. This is an excellent marketing tip. People will always remember a clever logo or slogan. Many people find it best to use a funny slogan because it brings people happy thoughts when they think of your business. Try to think one up.
A third great marketing tip is to put your URL everywhere. Get yourself noticed. Put your ULR all over your site, in your autoresponder emails, hand out flyers, business cards, etc. This is always beneficial.

Skyfher 5 Tips for Making Mounds of Money on the Internet
Written by admin on April 15, 2008 – 8:33 pm -
I am frequently contacted by young entrepreneurs starting out on the Internet who ask the same question: “Why can’t I make any money on the Internet?” Answering that question isn’t easy. It involves an in depth look at what the individual is doing to make money. However, there are common suggestions that I make time after time that ultimately end up starting my colleagues and clients down the path of wealth.
1. Create partnerships - Partnerships help create a reciprocal motivation source. If you have a business partnership setup and you begin to lose motivation, talking to your partner can help.
Even if you don’t have anything to sell, a partner can help. You can partner with someone who HAS something to sell. In that case, you can negotiate a certain amount of the profit to help him. You’ll be motivated by the fact that you get paid more by selling more and he’ll be happy because he won’t have to work so hard at marketing his own product.
It’s a pretty good deal, especially since you didn’t start with something to sell.
2. Become an Affiliate Marketer - Many products offer affiliate programs. You do the marketing for them and you make a commission on what you sell. This is similar to the partnership idea above, except most likely, there are many more than two people involved.

If you are interested in trying to make money from your blog, you probably want to know how you can best optimize your blog for great search engine results. After all, most people stumble upon blogs when doing a search for something. If you use these optimization tips effectively, it may be your blog more people are drawn to. So, check these tips out and experiment with your own blog. Note what has the best results and stay with it. Change the other things around a bit until you get the results out of them that you want.
Simple Content
Many experts say that the best way to optimize your blog is to keep everything very simple. You can choose one quality content topic and make it your base. Then from there you can use variations of the topic in order to keep everything going. This may seem like a broad and useless tip, but once you get into blogging more and more, you understand how important it is.
Put More Out There
If you are trying to get more of a presence on search engines, be sure that you have something to show. The more content you have, the more likely you are to show up on a search engine. Bigger sites always do better than smaller sites. It is simply a numbers game. Search engines will see your site in a different manner, depending on how much content you have. The more content you have, the more there is a chance there will be that someone will stumble onto your site.
Ask Search Engines for Help
Few people know that you can actually submit your site to search engines. Submit your site’s URL and ask to be put into the index. This can take a while, but if they do list you in the index, you will see a larger increase in traffic. Beware however of a service that asks for money in exchange for getting your sites into search engines. These can be a little misleading at times. There are ways to do this without needing to pay anyone at all.

Skyfher Guide To Internet Marketing
Written by admin on April 10, 2008 – 8:19 pm -The internet is a huge part of the transfer of information and data in the world today. It’s a part of life now. With that in mind, inter

In addition to simply being something that will surely annoy and upset potential customers, there are actually spam laws in place in many countries. If you choose to use spam as a method of internet marketing, then you are putting you and your business in legal jeopardy. This is no minor matter. Skyfher Tips - Free Website Traffic Is Your Best Option
Written by admin on April 10, 2008 – 8:14 pm -If you’re looking to generate free website traffic, the internet has many available options. There are certainly companies that will be more than happy to take your money to try and increase your website traffic. These services are fantastic if you don’t have the time to do the research on strategies yourself. However, if you have the time and the inclination to learn about driving traffic, your best bet is to generate your own free website traffic.
The people who generally opt out of using free website traffic are people who want many clicks on third-party
ads. If that is your situation, and you are making most of your money from those clicks, it is a viable option. You have to weigh what you make with those clicks, versus what you are paying to get them. You also have to ask yourself if this is the kind of traffic promotion you want to do. Paying for traffic won’t necessarily garner fans for your site.
One of the biggest trends to attract more free website traffic is to develop a blog. What began as a personal journal shared with the virtual world has turned into a necessity for successful business websites. Some site owners hire writers to blog for them to keep content fresh and interesting. Use the blog to offer a small taste of what you have to offer on the rest of your site.
